We’re reviewing how patients access appointments and would like to hear your views.
Earlier this year, we introduced a new appointment system to help us manage increasing demand and ensure patients with urgent health needs could access care safely. While the system has brought some benefits, we know that many patients would like greater choice over when they are seen and who they see.
Before making any changes, we want to understand what matters most to our patients. One option we are considering is having separate systems for urgent and routine care. Urgent appointments would focus on getting patients seen as quickly as possible by the next available clinician, while routine appointments would offer more choice over who patients see and when they are seen.
The consultation will run for four weeks and is an opportunity for you to tell us what is most important to you when booking an appointment.
Whether your priority is being seen quickly, choosing a particular clinician, or being able to book an appointment at a convenient time, we would like to hear your views.
Please take a few minutes to complete the consultation and help us shape the future of appointments at The Key.
