Neighbourhood Access Hubs
If you have rung with an urgent problem, you may have been offered an appointment with a Hub doctor here at The Key Medical Practice, or at Gosford Hill Medical Practice. This service is being extended to evenings and weekends. Further information about the Hub can be found here.
In early January we launched a campaign to encourage our patients to sign up and use our online tools for requesting prescriptions and booking routine GP appointments. The tool is very easy to use and is a much more efficient way for many patients to access the services they need. Completion of a registration form, presentation of ID and collection of a unique login is all it takes to get started. Please do ask at reception for the online access forms today. Once you have collected your logon, you will find instructions to help you register and login here
In addition to requesting prescriptions online, another great way to improve efficiency is to nominate a pharmacy. This allows your prescriptions to go straight from the practice to your pharmacy of choice so you can collect your medication in one-stop. This is an easy service to set up, so please do ask at reception for more details.

Electronic Patient Records – Statement of Intent
New contractual arrangements came into force on 1st April 2014 requiring GP practices to make available a statement of intent about IT developments.
Please click here for details of the arrangements we have in place for these developments at this Practice.
Friends & Family Test
Since 1st December 2014 we have been inviting all our patients to complete a short, anonymous feedback form after each visit to our Practice. This is called the Friends and Family Test. Your responses are frequently reviewed and they help shape our services. They are also being passed on to NHS England.
